Exbabylon Past, Present and Future

Our company was established by a young entrepreneur in September 2001- the goal was to provide awesome website design, application development and IT solutions. From 2001 through 2006 Exbabylon achieved that goal by designing fantastic websites, building custom applications and developing hardened platforms for military and healthcare agencies. By 2007 our team had expanded to include an increased focus on business IT, Verizon Wireless and computer services.

Exbabylon's company motto has has always been "Imagination Is The Only Limitation". We live and breath that motto every day with a team that thrives on finding simple solutions to complex problems. Today, over 12 years since our humble start, Exbabylon is one of the Northwest's most experienced, forward-thinking and fastest growing IT firms with a regional impact across the entire Northwest, including clients in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana. What's In A Name?

Exbabylon noun \(ˈ)eks-ba-bə-län\

If there was one question asked of Exbabylon above all else, it would have to be "Is there any significance to the name?". In one word, "Yes". Exbabylon could easily be broken down into two parts: "ex" and "babylon". In Latin "ex" means "free from, without", while "babylon" is the Greek iteration of the Hebrew "bable", meaning "confusion". So Exbabylon means, with a hybrid mix of Latin, Greek & Hebrew, "free from (without) confusion". Today, more than ever, we're delivering on the promise of our name by keeping technology simple so our clients can focus on what matters most in business and life.
